This ring can not realistically make measurements of certain things that are claimed for it [like Blood Glucose Levels and, to a lesser extent, Blood Pressure], so I am deducting a star for that. But other than that, the ring and associated Android App I use does some things exceptionally and surprisingly well - especially for the price! And for most functions that can be set to do periodic measurements every 5-10-15-30-60 minutes, there is an 'On-Demand' measurement feature as well. Maybe the most impressive functionality is the Single-Lead Electro-Cardio-Gram that is an 'On-Demand' measurement only - you have to place a finger from your non ring-wearing hand on an electrode sensor at the top of the ring for 30 or so seconds. This provided a medical-grade ECG graphical recording of a 30-seconds duration Single-Lead heart beat measurement that agreed with the measurement I got from my FDA-Approved Mecical-Grade Kardia ECG device/App, complete with the 0.200 second per horizontal large division and 0.04 second per horizontal small division chart layout. The least impressive functionality is the Step Counter, which consistently overcounts my steps by a factor of 2 or 3. For $100+ US, I can live with that. And I need to mention it includes a very well-done charging case with battery and lid, a red/green color LED on the case and ring, and a magnetic ring positioning aid. My $300+ ring came with a charging 'tray' with no battery, no magnetic ring positioning aid, and a white LED on the tray. I got this Bearscome product because, as I was going through a long wait with no communication for another Chinese brand $300+ US 'Smart Ring', I noticed these Bearscome products that started at $79 US and was curious as to what the ring could do. I received the Bearscome Ring about 3 weeks before I got the $300+ US ring, and now I realize I threw away $300+ US on a 'Smart Ring' that is a POC with a fraction of the functionality of my Bearscome V8 Ring. I will still try one of the more expensive 'Name Brand' rings just to get the full functionality of a correct Step Count and an equivalent ECG functionality to the one Bearscome has, but - take it from my experience - you could certainly do worse than getting one of the VERY affordable and surprisingly capable Bearscome Smart Rings.
